Aleksandar Muharemović was born 1978 in Osijek, Croatia. He has been working in the field of film, video and photography since 1995. During that time he has been working on various projects in photography, film, video and television. He is a freelance photographer, videographer, cameraman, assistant videographer, ENG sound recordist, video editor(on various editing systems). Since 1995 he has never stopped working on his own projects; his author films. After all, that is still the work he received most acknowledgements for up to now – first and foremost he is a film-maker. Aleksandar Muharemović was born on 28th of March 1978 in Osijek, Croatia. He has been working in film, video and photography since 1995. He also occasionally works as an educator in the same field. For his work as an educator he received a number of awards, most important of which is National award for technical culture „Faust Vrančić“ for 2012. In his main line of work as videographer, video editor, director, pohotographer and sound recordist he collaborated with a number of media companies(some of them are Reuters, Crewroom Manchester, RTL televizija). Of course, at the same time he is working on his own projects as much as possible. Those are mainly his films, which brought him many awards and even more screenings at film festivals. At times he engages in writing, mostly essays about his utmost passion; experimental film. So far, he had two major retrospectives of his work, one in Belgrade in 2008, and other in Zagreb in 2016.
